It is not uncommon for interim executives to have a small number of non executive and pro bono positions within their ‘portfolio’. PILOTpartners maintains a register of interim executives interested in such opportunities. This register includes candidates for Chairmen and Non Executive roles who are unknown to traditional search firms.

Furthermore, as a result of either a successful PILOTpartners interim assignment, a turnaround project or a well received commercial due diligence project, it is not uncommon for the executive to be invited to chair or to join the board of the target business.
