PILOTpartners is a leading executive management resourcing business. In the current environment our clients need us to demonstrate a completely flexible approach to support their specific needs, often in very challenging situations. This means we are looking out for talented individuals who are flexible enough to turn their hands to, for example, interim, permanent, non executive, due diligence or project management opportunities.

We need to deliver top quality senior executives at board level – usually at short notice – in the following situations in the UK and internationally:

Turnaround & Change Management

We operate a Panel of executives with demonstrable expertise in turnarounds and business transformation. We are particularly keen to meet executives with experience of leading projects for banks and private equity houses in varying degrees of distress, especially if these include appointments outside the UK.

Private Equity Portfolio Businesses

We operate a Panel of executives with excellent track records in managing businesses leveraged through private equity investment covering all sectors. Many of these businesses operate outside the UK; we are therefore particularly keen to meet executives with solid experience of international operations.

Our clients are also interested to meet executives seeking to participate in MBI deals. We operate a small ‘club’ of such people for a limited number of private equity clients.

Interim Finance Directors

We operate an extensive Panel of CFO’s covering all sectors for assignments in the UK and internationally. Interim CFO’s are also widely utilised for opportunities in turnaround and restructuring working closely with stakeholders and advisers as well as leading or supporting M&A transactions in listed and private companies.

Commercial Due Diligence

We are often asked to provide executives as consultants for early or late stage commercial due diligence projects; often these opportunities are outside the UK. Executives are also assigned through PILOTpartners to investigate specific issues in a prospective or existing investment or lending situation.

Interim to Permanent Appointments

With the expense and extended timescales of executive search often being inappropriate, many clients like to use a ‘try & buy’ approach for board level positions through the highly focused resourcing methodologies employed by PILOTpartners. This suits executives who may not necessarily be committed to interim management per se as a chosen career path.

Non Executive Appointments

It is not uncommon for those engaged in ‘plural careers’ including interim executives to have a small number of non executive or pro bono positions within their ‘portfolio’. PILOTpartners maintains a register of executives interested in such opportunities.
